Meet Our Crew
Captain Chaz
Born and raised in Hernando Beach, Captain Chaz has spent a lifetime fishing the local waters. By age 8, he had his own skiff and a passion for the sea. He worked as a mate in his teens and by 18 was in the Thunder’s wheelhouse. In 2015, he proudly purchased the Thunder, becoming one of the few party boat owners north of Hudson on Florida’s west coast.
Captain Daniel Graham
A local through and through, Captain Daniel grew up fishing Florida’s Nature Coast. After four years as a first mate and many more with the Thunder Fishing Co. team, he’s developed the skill, knowledge, and passion to consistently put guests on fish. His love for charter fishing is obvious the moment you step aboard.
First Mate Rob
Rob joined the Thunder crew in 2020 and brings deep experience from sportfishing in Oahu, trips in Clearwater Beach, and long-range fishing out of Tarpon Springs. He’s known for his hard work and commitment to helping guests have a great day on the water.
Our Boats
Thunder Party Boat
The 42’ Thunder, built in 1995, is a USCG-inspected party boat designed for shallow Gulf waters but stable enough to venture up to 30–40 miles offshore. Drafting only 3.5 feet, it’s ideal for nearshore fishing. The Thunder is powered by twin diesel engines cruising at 16–18 mph and features open-air canopy seating and one onboard restroom (head). It’s also federally permitted for reef fishing.
Thunder Go Fast
We also offer private charters aboard the LUCKY D, a more intimate option for groups of up to six people. It’s perfect for families, small groups, or anyone wanting a personalized fishing experience.
